The JANUARY CAVILAM/CPEDERF "STAGE" 2003
It is impossible to describe how wonderful the stage experience in France was. The people in our group were great, our host families were terrific, and everyone of us felt that we had greatly improved our French throughout the 4-week stay....One of the highlights of the entire experience was the living with French families in Vichy and Nevers. These families were all very welcoming and patient with our French...Many tears were shed when our group left both Vichy and Nevers by members of the group and by their host families....(Tim)
I was pleased with the degree of professionalism with which the classes were run, and the content was exacly what I was looking for. My goal had been to improve my oral and aural skills, rather than focus on things like grammar, for which there is ample opportunity to work on at University....I felt my goals were largely achieved due largely to the progamme at the Cavilam and the hebergement with the family, and I am very happy with my progress in verbal communication...I was pleased to have time at the end of my stay to put my new skills into practice in attending the theatre, cinema, etc in Paris...(Pauline)

The scope of the tour was excellent with such a variety of experiences - not all chateaux and museums!...
I anticipated a well-organised and interesting trip in French areas I already knew and in which I wanted to spend more time, with a historical theme. It was a well-balanced tour with quite a variety of points of interest...
Overall a very enjoyable, informative and rewarding tour....
I liked the leisurely pace, good organisation, excellent leadership, and the beautiful countryside we saw...

I just want to thank you for everything that was organised for me for the "stage" I took. Attending the "stage" was one of the best things I've ever done! I had a great time and a wonderful experience and I learnt so much just by being with people in France. It was a great trip. I'm now back in Hong Kong...
